Careers

Pippin Equestrian is a British Horse Society approved ‘Where to Train’ and Examination centre.

British Horse Society stages I - III examinations, Riding and Road Safety examinations and the Preliminary Teach Test are held throughout the year.

We have students training towards all these exam on a regular basis.  They either join one of our courses for a set number of weeks  (daytime or evening) or they join in whenever they want.  We excel at catering for  the needs of the individual and catering to  your personal requirements.  Details of the courses scheduled are available from our office

We also run intensive days and weeks for the BHS Stages examinations. A typical intensive day  consists of two mounted group sessions and one theory/practical stable management lecture.  We are able to focus on flatwork and/or jumping  as required.  Training for the Preliminary Teaching test is comprehensive and there is the opportunity to assist with many of the lessons running at our riding school.

For those wishing to train for the Intermediate Teaching and  the Equitation, Teaching and Stable Manager’s examination we would discuss your requirements and organise a course on a tailor made basis. Please contact us for further information.

We have a number of day courses scheduled through the year where visiting Examiners and Fellows of the British Horse Society can give you an insight into the various examinations.
