Children
We offer week long riding holidays for those of you who wish to really improve your riding. These holidays are non-residential unless you are taking part in one of our Pony Club Camps. Alternatively, we have a large self-catering farmhouse adjacent to the stables and many children come to stay here with their parents. Whilst your parents are out and about visiting Dorset places of interest you can spend the whole day with us but still spend time with your parents in the evenings. Some of our clients book the farmhouse and the whole family ride.
All our riding holidays consist of 2 hours of mounted instruction and stable management lectures. You will be allocated a pony and you look after him for the whole week you are with us. For those of you who would like to hack and gallop, there is the opportunity to ride over 250 acres of Dorset Farmland. All levels of rider come on our holidays from complete beginners to the competition riders competing in affiliated competitions. There is also the opportunity to work towards interest badges and achievement certificates.
At the end of the week we run competitions and encourage parents to come and watch. We have a prize-giving to finish off a fun packed week.
